A moment for our on-site cigar lounge, the Crow’s Nest 🤎 We’re so honored to have been featured in @cigaraficionado (a worldwide luxury lifestyle magazine)! The cigar lounge on the 3rd floor of our restored tobacco warehouse is our gem that offers a unique experience for wedding parties and cigar-lovers alike to enjoy!

🌟Brittany began her journey with The Booking House in 2015 as a college intern and instantly fell in love with the industry and the venue! 10 years sure has flown by! 🤯
🌸After graduating college in 2017, Britt boldly pitched an idea to bring wedding coordination in-house, and the BH (Michele & JP) said yes! She created, maintained, and grew the in-house coordination package, which has added priceless value to what The Booking House has to offer.🤩
🪜After 4 years of growing & perfecting wedding coordination, she was offered a well deserved promotion to Director of Sales & Operations at the venue! With her unmatched eye for detail and insane work ethic, she has expanded and grown the BH to another level the past 4 years!
💁🏼‍♀️If she is not here giving tours, juggling 3 million other tasks, posting on social media, or responding to emails at lightning speed, you will most likely find her giggling with friends while enjoying crafted cocktails, hanging out with her niece & nephew, pampering her cute pup Zoey 🐾, or catching up on her Bravo faves! 📺

💍 Megan was a Booking House bride in 2020 (pre the world shutting down) before she joined our team 4 years later in 2024! (Did we mention that we LOVE when our past couples love the venue so much they want to be a part of our team!? 🤭)
🧳 When she’s not helping our couples on the weekends, she puts her planning skills to good use by organizing travel itineraries for her friends & family! She’ll hunt for the coolest experiences like glassblowing in Venice 🇮🇹 or underground kayaking in Kentucky! 🤠
💃🏻 Her favorite part about weddings? When the dance floor first opens! She loves seeing the multigenerational enthusiasm for the next couple. ♥️ Always such a fun mix of loved ones!

✨Meet Gretchen✨
🏫 Gretchen started working at The Booking House in 2021 as a part of our Parking & Set Up team! She graduated high school this past June 👩‍🎓and got promoted this summer as our Assistant Event Specialist, Aalea and our coordinating team’s right hand girl! 💪
🏃‍♀️ When she’s not helping our couples on the weekends, she loves staying active whether that’s playing pickleball, hiking, swimming 🏊‍♀️, or line dancing 🤠! She was a track star in high school as a hurdler, so she loves going back to the track every once and awhile! 👟 She’s also a big traveler 🧳 with her family and loves taking photos capturing memories with her friends! 📸
📋 Her favorite part about weddings? Working behind the scenes to help bring each couple’s special day to life! 🪄

💍 Emilie was a Booking House bride in 2015 before she joined our team 6 years later in 2021! (How fun that our past couples love the venue so much they want to be a part of our team! 🤭)
🍹 When she joined the BH fam, she started out as one of our in-house wedding coordinators! Then she found her real passion a year later with all things bartending as our Bar Consultant!
📋 Each summer, she hand picks & creates popular signature drinks (and puts her own fun twist on each 💖) for our couples to sample & plan their wedding bar menu at our Signature Drink Tasting Event! Have you tried her Red Velvet Espresso Martini?! 🍫 ♥️
🏖️ When she’s not shaking up a drink behind the bar or chatting with our couples to plan their bar menu, she loves vacationing with her husband and 2 boys ☀️, playing a game of pickleball, watching Bravo marathons in the bath, and getting crafty in the kitchen 🍴
🐾 Her favorite part about weddings? When couples incorporate their pets into their bar menu whether in the signature drink name or a photo on their cocktail napkins! (Em has 2 cutie pups at home! Hi Gus & Clover! 🐶 )

🌟 In 2021, she joined the BH fam to pursue her dream job of wedding coordinating! Coming from a corporate background, she excels with her creative design eye in combination with her organizational skills!
💍 In the last 4 years she has coordinated over 150 weddings 🤯
🌸 A people-person through and through, she loves the connections she makes with her couples (who turn into her lifelong friends)!
🏉 With 11 years of rugby experience, she brings leadership, teamwork, and grit to every wedding day. She isn’t afraid to stand up for her couples and do whatever is needed to get the job done! 💪🏼 (she is also a 2x D1 athlete so she can double as security at events 🤭)
💁🏼‍♀️When she’s not coordinating weddings, she’s chasing her adventurous 2.5 year old daughter around, gardening 🌼, walking her rescue dog Cece, or binging New Girl reruns.
🪩 Her favorite wedding day moment? A mix of watching the dance floor light up with pure joy at the end of the night and creating lifelong friendships with her couples!

🥰Fun fact! She played rugby against Ilona Maher in college. Admittedly she got wrecked by her a few times, but is honored to have shared the pitch with such a rockstar athlete!

Meet your wedding pros ✨These are our fearless leaders and venue owners, JP & Michele🤎🤎 The Booking House wouldn’t exist without these two! All of the warmth and hospitality that is given to each wedding & event here stems from our work “mom and dad.” 🫶🏼

✨Meet JP & Michele ✨
🔨 In 2012, they bought this old building (initially just for JP’s construction storage) and began dreaming of something bigger….that dream became The Booking House!
🧱 Michele instantly fell in love with the giant beams and old brick charm, convincing JP (with the help of their daughter Michaela) to transform it into a wedding & event space!
👷🏼‍♂️With JP’s 30+ years of construction experience 🔧 and Michele’s love for hosting, they poured their hearts into restoring the space and opened the doors in 2014.
♥️ They love seeing so many special life celebrations and memories being made in a building that is so special to their own family! During the year, Michele handles layouts for all of the BH events and JP is our guy who creates whole new spaces (hello Atrium 👋), our “fixer” for anything maintenance related, and tour expert!
🏡Outside of weddings, JP can be found on the golf course, hanging with his cigar club, or building playhouses for the grandkids, while Michele loves pickleball, traveling, being creative with various crafts and spending time with her two grandbabies.
💍 Their favorite part of a wedding? Seeing couples and guests celebrate together in a space filled with joy, history, and a whole lot of love 💕

🌞It can get HOT in June-August in central PA, so selecting a venue with climate control in every space is the move. Who wants their guests to be uncomfortable and sweating the entire celebration? Not us. Lol.
