Creating Unforgettable Experiences: A Valentine's Dinner Event🌹

Last month, we hosted our 2nd annual Valentine's Dinner Event at The Booking House! During our "slower" event season, we like to offer unique experiences to welcome back our past couples, clients, and friends/supporters of The BH! On February 14th, we greeted a variety of 45 couples to the venue - some familiar faces and some new friends (not to mention a couple that traveled a few hours to get to the little town of Manheim!).
We transformed the Rizzardi Room to an intimate dining room with tables for 2 or 4. Our goal was to offer something different on this holiday, so couples ditched the crowded typical restaurant and experienced all that The Booking House has to offer!
After months of planning, prepping, and advertising, there were a few key players that we couldn't have imagined hosting this event without!
Aesthetics & Atmosphere:
As guests entered the Rizzardi Room, they were greeted with a pre-dinner champagne to get the night started. Talk about the perfect touch!
Our crafted cocktails provided by our in-house bartenders, were a highlight of the evening! Our in-house bar consultant, Emilie, created our beverage menu that featured a Rosé French 75, Old Fashioned, and Chocolate Raspberry Martini! We also offered a Pomegranate Mojito Mocktail for a refreshing option.
To make sure guests had a keepsake to remember this special evening, Ziggy Booth set up their perfect photo booth in the Rizzardi Lounge! They even featured their new Keychain Station, which turned your booth photo into a beautiful photo keychain with a lush leather hook!
Our in-house wedding coordinator, Aalea, along with our general manager, Brittany, had the chance to get creative with crafting this vintage love-themed event! With lush red & white roses from Bouquets by Lisa Yoder and hundreds of candlelight throughout the entire venue to set the tone!
The Importance of the Perfect Menu:
Our friends at Rettew's Catering curated a Three-Course Meal for our guests, including an Amuse Bouche (palette cleanser) to start, choice of 3 entrees, and petite desserts, all served to each table. Couples pre-selected their entree when making their reservation, so there was no wait time day of.
To compliment the delicious cuisine, we selected a mix of rich velvet red linens and crisp white linens to provide the perfect backdrop and tablescape for the meal!
Vibes & Entertainment:
We asked our talented pals, Matt & Nissa, of 3 WEST Productions to perform live during dinner. This husband/wife duo provided a mix of pop songs, love songs, and throwbacks - perfection!
After dinner service, guests were invited to continue the evening with a choice of enjoying a cigar in our Crow's Nest Cigar Lounge and/or dance the night away in the Atrium! DJ Steve of 3 WEST Productions got everyone on the floor with his mix of slow songs and party tunes - with his years of experience, he read the crowd perfectly to ensure everyone heard music that made them want to dance!
