Whether you're having 50 guests or 250, assigning tables is a must for a smooth transition from your wedding cocktail hour to your reception! This takes the stress off of your guests having to hurry to secure a table/seat, your caterer can plan out place setting items ahead of time, and our venue team can set up the exact amount of tables and chairs to match your plans! Everything just makes sense!🥰
Now that we have established that assigning tables is a must, how can you incorporate your wedding colors/theme/vibe into your seating chart or escort name cards? We gotchu! Here are some examples of unique displays:
Name Cards : Classic tented name cards with the assigned table number, arranged on a table.
Wanna be different? If your wedding is at The Booking House😉, take your name cards and ask your coordinator to adhere them to our galvanized metal wall in the Station Room with a small magnet!
Seating Chart : Create a poster board sized chart with your guests' names and corresponding table number.
Go above and beyond! Hire a signage vendor or calligrapher to create a custom piece like a large mirror, large free-standing blocks, candles and vases, a greenery backdrop with table numbers and names handwritten on frames, or a colorful partition backdrop to curate a unique decor piece! Win-win with function and decor! Hit up our girlie, Morgan with The Morgan Made Wedding Shop to start creating your dream signs!
Do you like a little DIY project? Get a bunch of mismatched or variety of sized picture frames and print out your lists on nice paper! Then display your frames on a table!
Tie in a Favor : Order your individual name cards with table numbers, but then attach/tie/glue them to your favor! Favors we've seen include: a keepsake sports game ticket, mini hot sauce bottles, a keepsake bookmark, custom bottle openers, mini succulents, etc.! Personalize your decor to you + your fiancé's love story!
Pro Tip! 🚨 Make sure your name cards are in alphabetical order for easy-to-find names! And if you have a multi-choice dinner option, pop a symbol or color-code your name cards so your catering servers can deliver your guests' meals with ease!
